Sultana

Sultana was a feral kitten just several weeks old living amongst a colony of cats in a carpark in East London 2018. Also there were her siblings and mum. I trapped Sultana, her two siblings and mum then took them back home and got them all to the vet the next day as they were suffering from cat flu. They all eventually recovered after several weeks. Although their mum was friendly, Sultana and her siblings (Raisin and Neegy) were feral so it was quite a while before they became friendly. Today they are very friendly but you still cannot really approach them to pick them up as they get spooked. They must come to you, well Sultana and Raisin do anyway, Neegy not so much. Their mum, who was friendly, was rehomed to a friend of mine.
Sultana is a little round cuddly bear, she gets on with all the other cats in the house and especially loves to cuddle up with Jazzman.
She often suffers from flair ups of calicivirus, which is one of the cat flu's.

All the other cats in the carpark colony were trapped, neutered and put back by the Celia Hammond Animal Trust not long after I was there.  A year later I went back and trapped Sultana, Raisin and Neegy's dad, who was friendly. He went on to Feline Care Animal Rescue in Norfolk where he eventually found a lovely home.
